The Sound of Magic!! Pt 2.

Hi welcome! This is my fourty-first blog post. In this blog post I will be talking about a kdrama called The sound of magic! This is part 2 so if you want to read part 1 here is the link!

Here is a summary of the kdrama I searched up on google so if you don’t want to read my blog post you can read this! “The story itself focuses on Ah-Yi, a poor school student who ekes her way through life, struggling to get by. After her mother leaves and her father goes on the run from loan-sharks, Ah-Yi is left with nothing. Se’s struggling to pay her rent and trying to keep up with studies while working part-time.”

The main characters are: Na Il-Deung, Yoon Ah-yi, Ryu Min-Hyuk

There are a lot more main characters but they are more like sub-main characters so I decided not to add them.

(spoiler alert! from now on the blog is going to talk about what happens in the kdrama! If you are interested in watching and don’t want spoilers then you shouldn’t read any further! Just a reminder that everything I write in my blog posts are from memory so I do apologize that if this isn’t the right information!)

So after she picked up her food, Baek Ha-na she went back to class and as someone was wiping the board, they both bumped into each other (baek ha-na and the girl), and Baek Ha-na was like “today is NOT my day” and told her to watch where she was going. She then stopped at Na il-deung’s desk and asked him if his desk mate was mute and signaled to his deskmates desk (Yoon Ah-yi), he then replied saying he didn’t know because he hasn’t talked to her yet. Baek Ha-na’s friend then said “she may look weird but she does get good grades right?” Il-deung then said “why are you asking me?” and Kim So-hee (ha-na’s best friend) replied saying that Il-deung always gets the highest grades in all subjects except math because Ah-yi is always top in that subject.

Il-deung then replied back saying “hey so-hee, you should work on losing weight if you want to get into college” she then looked confused and Il-deung signaled to the quote in their classroom that says “The college gates are narrow but we are skinny” She then looked offended and walked away since the bell rang and they had to go back to their seats.

Ah-yi then came back to class and sat down in her seat fast because she wanted to hide the fact she is bringing home the food she got at the school cafeteria. Ha-na looks at Ah-yi in suspicion because she thinks that Ah-yi is poor.

JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure Part 5

Hi welcome! This is my fortieth blog post! In this blog post, I will be doing part three in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure! Here is the link to the fourth one if you wanna reread it! Try to watch this anime! It’s really good!

Here is a summary for you to read!: “The story of the Joestar family, who are possessed with intense psychic strength, and the adventures each member encounters throughout their lives. Chronicles the struggles of the cursed Joestar bloodline against the forces of evil.”

The main character in this anime is Jojo. Sub Main characters are (in the 1st part) Dio, Zeppeli, Speedwagon, Blueford, and Erina.

Some characters in the show though weren’t really main. Poco, Jack the Ripper, Dire, George Joestar (his dad.), and Wang Chan.

Okay, I’m going to start calling Jojo Jonathan so it doesn’t sound as confusing as usual. (They’re the same people!)

Before all this happened, Jonathan was going to check the antidote he actually found a letter and found Dio’s real father telling him to kill George to steal the family fortune. That’s why Jonathan had a weird feeling about the antidote.

As Jonathan asked Dio to give him the antidote Dio didn’t want to give it to him but he had to. Jonathan checked it and it was poison! Jonathan grabbed the entire plate from Dio and asked why is he trying to poison his father. Dio started laughing and said he could take all the fortune if his dad died. He wanted him and Jojo to die. Jonathan decided to keep the poison and told the servants to keep an eye on George.

Jonathan went to another town to get medicine for his father. As he looks around Orge Street, he finds some thugs on the street. The thugs try to kill him for looking at them but he easily knocks them out. A man called Speedwagon, the leader of the thugs, admits his defeat and makes a friendship with Jonathan. Jonathan got help from him by asking him some questions around the town and they soon find Wang Chan, Dio’s antidote supplier. As he gets the antidote from him get goes back to the mansion and goes and gets an army of people to stop Dio from killing his father. Little did he know, Dio was about to turn into an immortal vampire. Dio comes to the mansion to find many men including Jonathan and Speedwagon and George waiting for him. All of the men were holding guns and Dio. Dio has learned how to use the stone mask and tried to kill Jonathan quickly but George blocked him and blood flew to the mask.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 4

Hi welcome! This is my thirty-eighth blog post! In this blog post, I will be doing part three in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure! Here is the link to the third one if you wanna reread it! Please enjoy this blog post! Also, I think this is the one anime I wrote so much on! Haha!

The main character in this anime is Jojo. Sub Main characters are (in the 1st part) Dio, Zeppeli, Speedwagon, Blueford, and Erina.

Some characters in the show though weren’t really main. Poco, Jack the Ripper, Dire, George Joestar (his dad.), and Wang Chan.

Dio had actually kissed Erina because he wanted to steal Jojo’s first kiss from Erina. Jojo had comforted Dio at the mansion for kissing Erina. Dio admitted that he tried to ruin Jojo’s life. Jojo got really mad and gave Dio a beating of his life. But when Jojo gave him another hit blood was spotted on a stone mask. (I also forgot to tell you that the mask was from the suitcase in part one!! The father of Dio did take the briefcase!) The stone mask spiked on the back and Jojo noticed.

Jojo tried to find Erina outside of the mansion but as soon as he came back there was terrible news waiting for him. Jojo could not find Danny! (Danny is the dog) When he asked one of the servants and they said that Danny was “accidentally” placed in the incinerator. Jojo cried as he thought it was Dio but he had no proof to tell his dad, George, that he killed him. Dio had decided to feign the peace.

Seven years passed and it came to a scene where they were playing football. Dio caught the ball and soon got trapped into a group of two. Dio passed it to Jojo and he sprinted forward. Many people grabbed onto Jonathan as he kept walking forward. Jojo got a touchdown after walking with about five people he was dragging. Dio and Jojo high-fived. (It was just a nice thing since it’s been seven years.) Jojo and Dio’s bond go a little better but Dio still despised Jojo. Dio only wanted the fortune from Jonathan. When Jojo got home he found George ill. They needed to find the antidote for his illness. Luckily Dio had an “antidote” He put it on the plate to give it to George but Jojo had a weird feeling. He checked if the antidote really was medicine.

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo Pt. 2

Hi welcome! This is my thirty-ninth blog post! In this blog post, I will be talking about a kdrama called Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo, but this is part 2. Again you should really watch this show because this kdrama ratings are pretty high and I agree. The ratings for Rakuten Viki are 9.7/10, as My Drama List ratings are 8.8/10, and the last one is IMDb 8.4/10. As you can tell these are pretty good ratings so you should definitely try to watch it.

Here is a quick summary of the kdrama before you start reading so you’ll know what it’s about! : “Kim Bok Joo (Lee Sung-Kyung), a young woman chasing her dream of weightlifting on an athlete college campus, develops a crush on her friend Jung Joon-Hyung’s (Nam Joo-Hyuk) older brother, Jung Jae-Yi (Lee Jae-Yoon).”

The main characters are: Kim Bok-Joo and Jung Joon Hyung, Lee Seon-ok, Jung Nan-Hee, Jo Tae-Kwon, Kim Chang-gul, Kim Dae-Ho, Choi Sung Eun, Coach Choi

So starting off where I left off last time, it was where they bumped into each other after Bok-Joo’s victory. She then found Joon Hyung’s handkerchief on the ground. She then said, “what weird taste he has? is he a pervert?” She then takes it. Later on, Joon Hyung is in the nurse’s room getting a massage on the leg by the nurse because he hurt his leg earlier when almost tripping onto Bok-Joo. Later after he was done, he reached into his pocket to get something but found out it was not there, I assume he was looking for the handkerchief because he lost it earlier. He then looks very concerned and stressed. Well after that scene, the gymnastic girls were looking for their clothes and it seems like the girl’s clothes got taken/stolen, she then started complaining to her other classmates in gymnastics and her classmates denied that they took them and they accused the weightlifters since they sometimes use their stuff and take it. So then they saw some weightlifters and yelled at them to come over and talked rudely to them, like “hey you weightlifters! come here” then the girls started accusing the weightlifters of taking their tights and Bok-Joo came and said, “what are you doing to my girls” because Bok-Joo is also a weightlifter so she decides to help her friends. The gymnastic girls then look scared because they are scared of Bok-Joo. Bok-Joo then started questioning if the gymnastic girls had proof that they took their clothes. The gymnastic girls then said “I don’t have proof but they have history” saying that they used to take their clothes or accidentally.

Hi welcome! This is my thirty-seventh blog post! In this blog post, I will be talking about a kdrama called The sound of magic! This kdrama’s genre is drama and musical. I also do apologize for not posting weekly anymore since I was really busy with school projects as I had 3 due the same week. I was just really stressed and thought I would put aside blogging for a bit to finish my math and science stuff.

Here is a summary of the kdrama I found on google to help you understand in case my explanations are not thorough enough: “The story itself focuses on Ah-Yi, a poor school student who ekes her way through life, struggling to get by. After her mother leaves and her father goes on the run from loan-sharks, Ah-Yi is left with nothing. Se’s struggling to pay her rent and trying to keep up with studies while working part-time.”

This show is a musical. In the beginning, there is a song and after that, it leads to the beginning of the show. So the main character is Yoon Ah-yi as I said before, she is poor because her father had a business but went bankrupt so his father ran away knowing that he has to find a way to pay everything back, and her mom also abandoned her a while ago. So now she is living by herself with her younger sister and having to pay rent as Ah-yi is still in school. She has a really hard life because she misses her mom and wants to give her younger sister a good life but she can’t due to money problems and she can’t get a good job since she is in high school. Ah-yi is in a really good school but she could not pay for it so she got a scholarship. So to get food without a job, she would go to school and eat, and for the leftovers and meat, she would pack them up to bring them home for her sister and herself for dinner. She gets caught packing food home by the “popular girls”, the girls walk by her table and accidentally bump into her box of food on the ground and they laugh, look at her and say sorry not genuinely though. They laugh because everyone in the school was rich since the school was a good school and it was expensive. She does not care as she continues to pick her food up from the floor after it gets kicked.

My ID is Gangnam beauty

Hi welcome! This is my thirty-sixth blog post! In this blog post I will be talking about a kdrama called My ID is Gangnam beauty! This kdrama’s genre is romance! I think I lost count of my blog posts haha because I have 35 blog posts in total right now and on the first sentence it says “thirty-sixth,” I tried going back to see which blog post I messed up on haha but I can’t find it. If you are going through my blog post please let me know!

Here is a summary I found on google hoping this will help you understand with that is going on in the show!: “My ID is Gangnam Beauty, is a drama that looks at the life of a young timid woman, Kang Mi-Rae, who was bullied in school for being ‘ugly’. Before she begins life anew in the university, she undergoes plastic surgery, in the hope of looking like a ‘regular student’.”

The main characters are: Kang Mi-rae, Do Kyung-Seok, Hyun Sua, Yeon Woo-Young.

In the beginning, there was a girl. Her name is Kang Mi-rae. She always hid her face with her hair because she thought she was ugly. Well, it was her classmates who made her think that they would bully her all the time and call her “Kang Orc” which then became her nickname throughout her entire middle school life. She was really hurt from all the bullying she experienced because of her looks, because of that, she started working out thinking people might like her if she was slim/skinny. The boys only wanted girlfriends who looked good, they probably don’t even care about their personalities just their looks. Later on, Mirae started judging people by examining their looks. This became a habit and everytime she saw someone, she would look at their face and examine their eyes, nose and lips and rate them out of 100. Later on, her mom brings her to get plastic surgery, Mirae’s dad dissaproves of the surgery though. Even though her dad did not approve, they did it anyways. They changed her whole face, like changed every part on her face. She was then able to walk into her college starting a new life with a new face. Her best friend went to the same college as her. Mirae was really grateful for her best friend because she would stick up for Mirae whenever someone bullied her, she was also with her throughout her middle school life.

Twenty-Five Twenty-One

Hi welcome! This is my thirty-fifth blog post! In this blog post I will be talking about a kdrama called twenty-five twenty-one! This kdrama’s genre is romance! Haha I’ve posted too many romances. This kdrama is super good and came out in 2022! Hopefully this blog post will interest you into watching it!

Here is a quick summary I found from asianwiki!: “Twenty-Five, Twenty-One” tells a love story between Na Hee-Do (Kim Tae-Ri) and Back Yi-Jin (Nam Joo-Hyuk).

Na Hee-Do is a member of her high school fencing team. Due to the South Korean financial crisis, the high school fencing team gets disbanded. Getting through all the difficulties, she becomes a member of the sabre fencing national team.

The South Korean financial crisis also causes Back Yi-Jin’s father’s business to go bankrupt. This leads to a life change for Back Yi-Jin, from living the life of a wealthy person to a poor person. While studying, he works part-time jobs like delivery newspapers. Later, he becomes a sports reporter for a broadcasting network.

The main characters are: Na Hee-do, Baek Yijin, Ji Seung-wan, Moon Ji-woong,and Ko Yu-rim.

This show can be very confusing at times. For example, this show is talking about the past but sometimes it will show some clips of the future with not much explanation saying what is happening. The first episode, beginning, it will show the future where the Hee-do is a mom and you may wonder “what’s going on, is the kid in the first clip Hee-do?” but it is actually Hee-do’s daughter in the future. Her name is Kim Min-Chae. She loves to do ballet but one day she was doing a competition and saw how good the competitors were so she got really sad and gave up when it was her turn. She then walked out of the place and went to her mom’s car and told Hee-do that she didn’t want to do ballet anymore. Hee-do asked her why not since Min-Chae used to love ballet and was super good at it. Min-chae responded saying that ballet was too hard now and she wasn’t having anymore fun doing it, it just feels like pressure… etc. Hee-do then explained that when you do something you love, you will go through some hills or trouble and you’ll get through the trouble if you just keep doing the thing you love, but Min-chae didn’t care and just got mad. When they got home, Min-chae found Hee-do’s old diaries from when she was fencing back then. At this point, she started reading it and the scene went back to the past.

Business proposal pt 2 !!

Hi welcome! This is my thirty-fourth blog post! In this blog post, I will be talking about a kdrama called Business Proposal. This is part two! This show is really funny and it’s really romantic in some parts and it could also make you feel really lonely (yk only if you’re single haha) Here’s a link to part one if you wanna read it!

Here is a quick summary written by me of the kdrama before you start!: The main character, also known as Shin Ha-ri. She works at a company called GOfood, the CEO of GOfood is called Kim Taemoo. In the first few episodes of the show, she is going through many different problems that she has to solve without leaking her secret. (This is just for you to read if you want a summary if not then skip and read the next part.)

The main characters are: Shin Ha-ri, Kang Taemoo, Jin Young-Seo, and Cha Seong-hun.

Okay so in my last blog post, I was talking about the characters, I’ll continue them then I’ll continue with the summary.

Next is Cha Seong-hun, he is a very responsible person and he is the secretary of Kang Taemoo. (BIG SPOILER HERE! ->) Seong-hun later gets together with Young-seo. Seong-hun and Taemoo have been friends since when they were small, they went to high school together and started working together in the company GOfood.

When they had their first interaction when they were at a convenience store, Seong-hun was inside and looking for something. Young-seo was walking around until a kid accidentally bumped into her with a marker and there was marker writing on her clothes, she smiled and told the kid to be careful next time and showed the kid a drawing of a flower Young-seo drew on her pants. Her mom thanked Young-seo for forgiving her child and they left. Seong-hun thought that was really cute and a nice reaction from Young-seo. Later on, she left and after like five minutes, she bumped into Seong-hun outside and apologized a lot. She then stared at him for a while and said sorry again then left. Her mind was everywhere because she thought he looked really good and that she had to get with him. She then left and looked for apartments to get since she left her parent’s house because they got into an argument. After searching for a long time, she finally find an apartment that she liked. After buying the apartment. She started moving her stuff in. Then her neighbor came home and saw someone was finally moving in the apartment next to him.

Business proposal !!

Hi welcome! This is my thirty-fourth blog post! In this blog post, I will be talking about a kdrama called Business Proposal. This show is a comedy and romance, I’m pretty sure more of comedy but there’s both! This show is an ongoing kdrama and is coming out with new episodes every day.

The main characters are: Shin Ha-ri, Kang Taemoo, Jin Young-Seo, and Cha Seong-hun.

In the beginning, Kang Taemoo is at the airport and when they are on their way to leave, many girls are looking at Taemoo because of how good he looks. In a few second, he sees a advertisement for food, he then says stuff like “how is this even an advertisement, this isn’t even showing the product they’re selling, call that company.” (Taemoo says to his secretary: Seong-hun)

Later on while Ha-ri is working on a project for her team at the place she works at, the leader of her team goes to tell Ha-ri that there is a meeting and as they went, they were waiting for the CEO to come and introduce himself as he is the new CEO of the company. As they sat down, Taemoo’s secretary came out and told them that the CEO could not make it and wouldn’t be able to preform the speech, and that the secretary will be reading a note that the CEO cannot come. Taemoo’s grandpa was sitting in the front row looking shocked in a disappointed way, he then stood up and asked the secretary where Taemoo was in a kind of rude way. Ha-ri was in the back row laughing, thinking what kind of CEO ditches his first introduction meeting.

Let’s talk about the people in this show first.

Ha-ri is a very responsible person but gets herself in a lot of trouble or scenarios you could never think of. She likes to help people but when it comes to her emotions she has no idea what to do. Her parents work at a chicken store they own by themselves.

Next is Kang Taemoo, he is very strict when it comes to work. He takes everything very seriously. He has experience when it comes to love. He is so concentrated on work he never has time to do things that seem fun to a normal human being.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure 3

Hi welcome! This is my thirty-second blog post! In this blog post, I will be doing part three in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure! Here is the link to the second one if you wanna reread it!

The main character in this anime is Jojo. Sub Main characters are (in the 1st part) Dio, Zeppeli, Speedwagon, Blueford, and Erina.

Jojo was in the boxing ring for a fighting match. He thought this was going to be easy because he was fighting an easy person. He’s been practicing fighting in these fights (I think!) so he can become stronger, but soon Jojo found out his opponent wasn’t the easy guy. The person that he was fighting was Dio. Dio smirked and Jojo complained that he was supposed to fight another guy. The judge didn’t really care so he said to start. The fight began badly for Jojo because he has gotten beaten up badly. The fight soon ended and Jojo was frustrated that he had lost.

He went to a river with his dog, Danny, so he can play around with him. The girl from the other day came by to find Jojo. She had a basket with her while coming near. The basket had some grapes and Jojo’s handkerchief in it. She didn’t want to disturb Jojo because he looked as if he was having so much fun, so she puts the basket at a tree and ran off. As she ran away Jojo heard twin sounds and sprinted up to the tree where she placed the basket. He thanked her as she ran. Jojo decided to hang out with her every day. As their friendship grew closer Jojo seemed to like Erina. They started dating and every time Jojo went home to do his things, (like normal things, you know?) he was always smiling because of how much fun he was having with Erina. Dio noticed the smile on his face and he wanted to find out what was making him so happy. He found Jojo was hanging out with Erina, so when it was noon Dio and his minions went to find her. Dio found her and forcefully kissed her. But on the following day, Jojo knew what happen.
